RunFriday 2: Save the children challenge

RB (Reckitt Benckiser) and BDRunners jointly organized a charity run ‘RunFriday 2: Save The Children Challenge’ on Friday (December 2, 2016). ‘Save the Children’, a global authority is working on reducing child mortality rate and also promoting healthy living amongst children and their families all over the world. Every year RB (Reckitt Benckiser) contributes funds for this cause so that no child dies before reaching   their full potential. This charity run in Dhaka was a continuation of this cause.

RB (Reckitt Benckiser) sponsored the “Run Friday 2- Save the Children” event organized by The BDRunners, a popular running community based in Dhaka. It was a two phased event where in the first phase interested runners joined on “Endomondo” App challenge which was valid for 5 days. The total distance ran by all the participants was recorded in the App. In the second phase there was a run for 5km organized in Dhaka for all. The Run Friday event became a congregation for this noble cause for the members of BDRunners group, employees of RB and commoners of Dhaka.

RB will contribute to Save The Children for every km that was run in this event and in the Endomondo App Challenge. The top three runners on the Endomondo challenge and the top three podium finishers on the 2nd Run Friday event have also received medals and there was also a certificate of appreciation for all the participants.
