SBAC Bank inks deal with BB

SBAC Bank PLC. has signed an agreement to participate in the Bangladesh Bank Start-up Refinance Fund of Tk 500 crore to facilitate innovation and the development of new entrepreneurs.

In the presence of Nurun Nahar, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, S. M. Mainul Kabir, Managing Director and CEO and Nawshad Mustafa, Director of SME & Special Programmes Department of Central Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions at Jahangir Alam Conference Hall of Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday, January 06, 2026.

Among others, Husne Ara Shikha, Executive Director of the central bank, Md. Altaf Hossain Bhuyan, Deputy Managing Director of SBAC Bank, Md. Abdul Mannan, EVP & Head of Credit Division of the Bank and other officials were present in the agreement ceremony.
