SJIBL opens branch at Thakurgaon

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) inaugurated its’ 95^th Branch at Thakurgaon on 03^rd November 2016. The Vice-Chairman of the Bank Mr. Mohiuddin Ahmed formally inaugurated the Branch as Chief Guest.

Fakrul Islam, Thakurgaon Branch Manager Mr. G M Kamrul Hasan, Dinajpur Branch Manager Mr. Chowdhury Md. Shahidullah, Rangpur Branch Manager Mr. Md. Solaiman, Chairman of Alis Group Mr. Alhaj Mohammad Ali, President of Thakurgaon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Habibul Islam Bablu, Former President of Thakurgaon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Abdus Salam Hawlader and Mr. Mahmud Hasan Raju, Founder President of Thakurgaon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Modasser Hossain, Advocate Mr. Md. Fazlul Haque, Managing Director of TOVCBD Ltd. Mr. ATM Shamsuzzaman and renowned Businessman Mr. Abdus Salam and Local Industrialist and prominent Businessmen were present in the opening ceremony.

In his speech, Mr. Mohiuddin Ahmed said the banking sector is playing a significant role for the overall economic growth of the country. Shahjalal Islami Bank acquired client’s credibility due to contemporary and modern technology based services. He also said Shahjalal Bank intends to more invest in Thakurgaon area for the economic and business development. He also said, the Bank will finance in SME’s for further development and expansion of SME sector.

Managing Director Mr. Farman R Chowdhury discussed elaborately about the Bank’s deposit and investment Schemes. The Bank is working to bring back all classes of people to take them under banking services.

The opening ceremony included reciting from the Holy Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa was held at the Branch premises. In the same day an ATM Booth also inaugurated in Thakurgaon Branch Premises.
