Syeda Rizwana, Farida Akhtar in advisory council

Chief Executive of Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (Bela) Syeda Rizwana Hasan and noted women’s rights activist Farida Akhtar confirmed that they received phone calls today from the authorities concerned inviting them to be on the advisory council of the new interim government.

Adilur Rahman Khan, founder of Odhikar, was also called to be on the advisory council, a reliable source said.
