Training on ACI Dealing by BAFEDA

Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers’ Association (BAFEDA) and Examready (Pty) Ltd. jointly arranged five days long “ACI Dealing Certificate” Training Program from 15^th to 19^th November 2015 at Dhaka Regency Hotel. Executives and Officers from member Banks attended the course.

The training program was inaugurated by Mr. Md. Ahsan Ullah, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank. In his inaugural speech he referred to the current volume of Fx. transactions and growth of foreign trade and Fx transactions in our foreign exchange market. He also highlighted the consistent growth of GDP and strong fundamentals Bangladesh economy. He emphasized on the development of skills of the dealers through training to face the risks and challenges in foreign exchange transactions locally and globally.

Mr. Abrar A. Anwar CEO of Standard Chartered Bank also spoke in the meeting highlighting the importance of such training in managing Assets and Liabilities in respective banks.

Mr. Mohammed Nurul Amin, MD & CEO of Meghna Bank Ltd. and Chairman, BAFEDA in his welcome speech expressed his sincere thanks to the guests for attending the program. He inspired the attendees for their active participation in the training program.

Mr. Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania, Chairman, Technical Committee of BAFEDA and Mr. Abdul Qayyum Bhuyan Executive Secretary, BAFEDA also attended the inaugural session.
