UCB goes paperless

As a part of the Bank’s ‘Green Banking’ initiative, United Commercial Bank Ltd (UCB) has implemented a paperless office.

The meeting of the Executive Committee held at Corporate Office, focused on more usage of technology and less paper-work which was a continuation of this process.

The meeting was presided by Mr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, Chairman of Executive Committee. Among other EC Members and Directors of the Board, Mr. Showkat Aziz Russell, Mr. M. A. Sabur, Mr. Md. Janhangir Alam Khan and Mr. Shabbir Ahmed along with Mr. Muhammed Ali, Managing Director of the Bank were also present in the meeting.

It will be apt to mention that UCB has been ‘going green’ in meetings of Senior Management too where video conferencing technology is being used to communicate with managers in different regions. UCB aims to take more green initiatives incessantly which will ensure less paper consumption adapting cutting-edge technology.
