View exchange meeting of IBBL RDS members

Jhalokathi Branch of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized a view exchange meeting of the members of Rural Development Scheme (RDS) on November 22, 2016 Tuesday at Kefayetnagar of Jhalokathi.

Prof. Syed Ahsanul Alam, Chairman, Executive Committee of the bank addressed the meeting as chief guest. Presided over by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director & CEO, Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Chairman, Audit Committee, Prof. Dr. Qazi Shahidul Alam and Md. Mizanur Rahman, Directors of the bank addressed the meeting as special guest. Md. Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan. FCA, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Abdus Salam, Senior Vice President and Head of Barisal Zone, Center Leaders from 14 RDS centers and 550 members along with local businesspersons attended the program.

Prof. Syed Ahsanul Alam, as chief guest said, Islami Bank is conducting fact-based activities for reducing the gap between rich and poor. The bank has carrying out its business with the ideology of equal opportunities for all. He said, the bank has included 1 million marginal families of 20 thousand villages with the mainstream economy of the country through its RDS and assured for expansion of more micro investment across the country. He directed the bank officials to bring the marginal people of the country under bank’s investment oriented financial inclusion.
