The West Bengal cabinet Thursday approved a Rs.1,377 trans-national roadway project connecting India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal, a minister announced.
In addition, the state government will go ahead with plans to rehabilitate destitute girl children under the “Muktir Alo” scheme.
“For this project, 21.59 acre of land area has been sanctioned by HIDCO in New Town (a satellite township in eastern fringes of Kolkata),” Chatterjee said.
