Syed Abdul Hamid has recently been reappointed as the Managing Director and CEO of Agrani Bank Limited for another one-year term. Earlier he was appointed MD and CEO of this bank for three tears term. He also served as MD (Additional Charge) and DMD of the same Bank earlier.
Mr. Hamid obtained his Masters Degree in Marketing from the University of Dhaka in 1977 and also completed Chartered Accountant course successfully from ICAB in 1984. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Association of Bangladesh. He comes of a respected Muslim family of Barishal District. He also obtained phD from the Preston University under distance programme.
