Habibur elected PBL Chairman

Renowned businessman and social worker Mr. Habibur Rahman has been unanimously elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Ltd (PBL) at its 1068^th Board Meeting after 33^rd Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM was held on 28 April 2016 at Bank’s auditorium.

Earlier, he was the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is the sponsor Director of Green Delta Insurance, Delta Hospital & Delta Medical Center.

Mr. Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder retired from the post of Chairman and Director of the Board of Directors in that Board Meeting. Approved by Bangladesh Bank, The Board of Directors unanimously appointed Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder as Adviser of Pubali Bank Ltd. and his daughter Rana Laila Hafiz was elected as Director of the Board of Directors of the Bank. She is a successful garment entrepreneur.

Eminent Industrialist and social worker Fahim Ahmed Faruk Chowdhury has been unanimously re-elected as 1^st Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Ltd.

Eminent Industrialist and social worker Azizur Rahman has been unanimously elected as 2^nd Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Ltd.

Director and Ex. Chairman Moniruddin Ahmed elected as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the bank in that Board Meeting.
