IBFB Ctg Chapter gets new Chairperson

Mr. S. M. Abu Tayyab has become as the new Chairperson of Chittagong Chapter of International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB). He was elected as Chairperson for two years (from 2016 to ’17) in the Annual General Meeting of 2015 of IBFB Chittagong Chapter held on 28 February 2016 at AMBROSIA restaurant in Chittagong. Mr. Tayyab is the Managing Director of Independent Apparels Ltd., Brothers Apparels Ltd. and Independent Fashion Wear Ltd.

He is also the Chairman of Chittagong Club Limited and Former First Vice President of BGMEA and Former Director of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI). Mr. Md. Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Managing Director of Eastern Group and Mr. Wahid Malek, Managing Editor of Daily Azadi were also elected as Vice Chairpersons of IBFB Chittagong Chapter. The AGM was attended by IBFB members, eminent business leaders and other distinguished guests from Chittagong. Mr. Mahmudul Islam Chowdhury, Founding President of IBFB was present as Chief Guest in the AGM, where Alhaj Md. Anwarul Hoque, former Director of IBFB (Central) was the Convener of the Nominating Committee for the AGM.
