NRBC Bank’S Chairman, Vice Chairman re-elected

Engr. Farasath Ali and Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury have been Re-Elected Chairman and Vice Chairman of NRBC Bank respectively.

Engr. Farasath Ali went to the United Kingdom in 1974 for receiving higher education. He was Asstt. Textile Technologist of Klynton Davis Ltd.(Subsidiary of Weft Knitting Co.) in England from 1977 to 1978. He was Senior Research and Development Technologist in United Sweater Mill Inc. of Bayonne of New Jersey from 1997 to 1998 and President and CEO of SNA Knitting Mill Inc. in USA from 1998 to 2005. Under his leadership NRBCB was started from April 02, 2013.

Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury is the Founder & Chairman, Board of Trustees of Metropolitan University. He is the President of Sylhet Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury was Sponsor Director and Chairman Mercantile Bank Limited.

Dr. Toufique Rahman Chowdhury has played commendable role in establishing the Bank owing to his long and experienced Banking career.
