CA places six proposals to end hunger

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today placed six proposals for a complete transformation of the global food and economic systems to end hunger, saying hunger is caused by the failure of the existing economic framework. “Hunger is not caused by scarcity. The Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded on Monday to American-Israeli Joel Mokyr, Frenchman Philippe Aghion and Canadian Peter Howitt for their work on the impact of technology on sustained economic growth.
