Yunus to succeed in bringing positive changes, Fakhrul hopes

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Saturday expressed the hope that very good things await the nation as interim government head Dr Muhammad Yunus will succeed in addressing political and other problems. “We have problems, and these will be resolved. In fact, a lot of progress has already been made. I want to thank Professor Yunus for taking on the responsibility (of running the country). I believe he will be successful. 2nd Best of Bangladesh kicks off in Amsterdam

The second edition of the “Best of Bangladesh in Europe” event kicked off on 17 April and closed its doors next day. The event showcases the dynamic potential of Bangladesh’s economy. It has taken place at Beurs Van Berlage, in Amsterdam and is expected to attract over 1500 visitors, including buyers, investors and stakeholders from around Europe. Dhaka, the overcrowded capital city of Bangladesh, has topped the list of cities with the worst air quality with an AQI index of 173 at 09:05 am on Saturday. The air was classified as 'unhealthy', according to the air quality and pollution city ranking.

An AQI between 151 and 200 is considered 'unhealthy' while 201-300 is 'very unhealthy' and 301-400 is considered 'hazardous', posing severe health risks to residents.
