Bangladesh now a lower middle income country

Bangladesh yesterday graduated from the low income status to lower middle income nation (LMIC), meeting the World Bank’s requirements comfortably. ADB to provide $505m loan for improving railway

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the government today (Sunday) signed agreement for $505 million loan to further improve the country’s railways that will help the national economy and boost subregional trade, reports BSS. WB’s budget support appears unlikely
