CA orders arrest of Hadi’s killers

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has directed law enforcement agencies to swiftly arrest those involved in the killing of Osman Hadi and others engaged in illegal activities and keep the law and order situation normal at any cost before the national elections.

DMP intensifies drive to arrest attackers of Hadi

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has launched an extensive drive to arrest the assailants who shot Inqilab Mancha spokesperson Osman Hadi in the capital’s Bijoynagar area on Friday afternoon.

According to police, a group of motorcycle-borne attackers opened fire on Hadi around 2:25 pm in the Box Culvert road area of Bijoynagar and fled the scene immediately.
He was critically injured and was undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Later, he was shifted to another hospital for better treatment.

Army hopes to normalise law & order if election held

Bangladesh Army today said the law and order situation will return to normalcy if the planned national election in February is held, paving the way for their return to barracks.
