Canada-Bangladesh Incorporated, has proposed Canadian investment in Bangladesh infrastructure including education. Canada-BDA six-member Canadian delegation met Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, MP, at his Secretariat office and made the proposal. ECNEC approves 8 projects worth Tk 4,890cr

The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved eight projects worth Tk 4,890 crore on Tuesday. govtPrime Minister Sheikh Hasina chaired the meeting at the NEC Conference Room at the Planning Commission in Sher-e-Banglanagar in the city. From the amount, government will finance Tk 1,636 crore while Tk 2,847 crore will come as project aid. Respective organizations will finance Tk 7 crore.
