Trade fair gets 10-day extension

The government has extended the ongoing Dhaka International Trade Fair by 10 days to help the participants that have suffered a sharp fall in sales as fears of political violence kept visitors away. Staff committee of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission on Sunday said that the Rural Electrification Board would need to raise the retail power price by 0.27 per cent and the Dhaka Electric Supply Company would not need to raise the price.
