BNP’s election manifesto to be announced tomorrow

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will announce the party's election manifesto for the 13th Parliamentary National Election scheduled for February 12.

Party media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan said BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will announce this manifesto at 3:30 pm tomorrow at the Ballroom of Hotel Sonargaon. The event will be presided over by the party's Secretary General, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and conducted by Central Election Steering Committee Chairman and Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan.

33pc of food samples tested unsafe in FY 2024–25

The Bangladesh Food Safety Authority (BFSA) detected adulteration, contamination, and low nutritional content in 571 of 1,713 tested food samples (33.3 per cent) in the 2024-25 fiscal year.
