An agricultural technology demonstration fair has been inaugurated in Sadar Upazila of Chuadanga on Tuesday (February 18) at 11 am. The technology demonstration fair was inaugurated by Masudur Rahman Sarkar, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension.
The fair has been arranged under the Sustainable Agricultural Extension Project in Jessore region, organized by the Chuadanga Sadar Upazila Agricultural Extension Department. At the beginning of the fair, a colorful procession started from Chuadanga Upazila Parishad premises, paraded various roads of the town and ended the same place.An inaugural function was held with Upazila Nirbahi Officer M Saifullah in the chair. Masudur Rahman Sarkar, Deputy Director of Chuadanga Department of Agricultural Extension spoke as the chief guest. Additional Agricultural Officer of Sadar Upazila. Additional Deputy Director (Parks) Debashish Kumar Das, Sadar Upazila Agriculture Officer Afrin Binte Aziz, Sadar Upazila Livestock Officer Mostafizur Rahman, Senior Fisheries Officer Rajiur Rahman, BRTA Officer Aminul Islam were the special guests.
Farmers are being given ideas on various agricultural-related topics through 14 stalls at the Sadar Agricultural Technology Exhibition Fair. The technology exhibition fair will run from February 18 to 20.
