7 prestigious Commward to Asiatic for Airtel campaigns

Airtel Bangladesh Limited, the fastest growing telecom operator in Bangladesh, had an outstanding nightas their marketing agency Asiatic MCL and digital agency Cookie Jarwon a total of 7 awards in various categories at the Commward, 2014.

Bangladesh Brand Forum in cooperation with Cannes Lions as Strategic Partner organized the ceremony, for the 4th time,recognizing and rewarding the best communications in the country in 19 different categories. This is the most prestigious event of its kind and highly experienced local and global Jury Panel selects the most effective Communication efforts in each category.

Each category recognizes winners in the form of Silver, Gold and the ultimate Grand Prix Award. Asiatic has won 5 Grand Prix and 2 Gold awards in total.

The most prestigious and coveted award of the night was the ‘Integrated Campaign Award’ and Asiatic MCL won the Grand Prix in Integrated Campaign for Airtel’s ‘Bondhu Chara Life Impossible’ and Cookie Jar won the Grand Prix for the Integrated Digital Marketing Award for Airtel’s 3G launch.

Asiatic won the other three Grand Prix Awards in Jingle, RDC and the Social Media category for their Bondhu Chara Life Impossible, Internet Chara Bondhutto Impossible and Airtel Buzz, campaigns, respectively. They also won the Gold Award in TVC and Video for Web category for their Bondhu Chara Life Impossible and Video for Web campaigns, respectively.

At Commward 2014 event,the emphasis was given on Marketing Communication’s success in achieving its desired goals. This approach addressed the pressing issue of ensuring creativity in the Advertisement Agencies.

The experienced Jury Panel for this award ceremony comprised of experts from academia, agency, client, and research arena whodesigned aninternational standard of evaluation process to cover all possible aspects of any successful Communication. This evaluation process was rigorously applied in evaluating and determining the campaigns for the awards.
