The Business Development Conference 2014 of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd (AIBL) was held on Tuesday at Hotel Rupashi Bangla in the capital.
Chairman of the Bank Badiur Rahman inaugurated the conference as the Chief Guest. The meeting was presided by the Managing Director of the Bank Md. Habibur Rahman.
The conference was address by Founder Chairman A.Z.M. Shamsul Alam, Directors of the Bank Md. Harun-Ar-Rashid Khan, Nazmul Ahsan Khaled, Abdul Malek Mollah, Abu Naser Mohammad Yeahea and Engr. Khondoker Mesbahuddin Ahmed.
Among others Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank Md. Mofazzal Hossain, Kazi Towhidul Alam, Md. Golam Rabbani, Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Abdul Jalil, Managing Director of AIBL Capital Market Services Ltd. Md. Rezaur Rahman and other Senior Executives of Head Office were present on the meeting. Managers from 110 branches of the Bank participated on the conference.
According to the un-audited calculation, total deposit of the Bank stood at Tk.14,501 Crore after the end of year 2013. At the same period the Bank invested Tk.13,011 Crore. Import and export of the Bank were Tk.8,591.50 Crore and Tk.6,898.03 Crore respectively.
