Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd (AIBL) will distribute free SIM Cards to pilgrims during the hajj this year. In this connection the Bank has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Intraco Limited on Tuesday, August 12.
Managing Director of the Bank Md. Habibur Rahman was present on the Signing Ceremony while Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Md. Golam Rabbani and Deputy Managing Director of Intraco Limited Md. Irad Ali signed on the MOU for their respective organizations. Director of the Bank Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Intraco Limited Engr. Waleed Sameer were present during the ceremony.
Among others, Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank Md. Mofazzal Hossain, Kazi Towhidul Alam, Mohammad Abdul Jalil, Executive Vice Presidents Abul Hossain Md. Rafique, Sheikh Mohammad, Senior Vice Presidents Md. Nazmus Saadat, Engr. Md. Habib Ullah, Abed Ahmed Khan, Md. Abul Hossain, Assistant Vice President Jalal Ahmed and on behalf of Intraco Limited, Manager (Operations) Shayanul Islam and Assistant Manager (Corporate Sales & Marketing) Abdur Rahman were also present on the occasion.
Managing Director of the Bank Md. Habibur Rahman, in his welcome speech, thanked Intraco Limited for providing support for free SIM distribution program. He also mentioned that, Al-Arafah Islami Bank never hesitates to lend a hand for the social welfare. Engr. Waleed Sameer, CEO of Intraco Limited also appreciated the initiative taken by the Bank which he believes will help the pilgrims a lot.
According to the newly signed MOU Intraco will provide the Bank 5 thousand MATRIX SIM cards with balance of 10 Saudi Real that is usable in Saudi Arabia for distribute free of cost among the pilgrims this year. Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. is taking this philanthropic initiative under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
