‘Angels Nest’ for BATB employees

British American Tobacco Bangladesh Ltd (BATB)  has inaugurated a day care center named ‘Angels Nest’. The center will provide day care services to the children of BATB employees. Encouraging women employee to work in a dynamic organization is one of the core objectives of such initiative.

Angels nestShehzad Munim, BATB Managing Director, inaugurates Angels Nest on Wednesday (01 Oct 2014) at Mohakhali DOHS in the capital.

Giving highest importance to the health, security and care of children, experienced organization La Petit Care has been appointed to operate Angels Nest. All BATB employees will be able take facility of this center which will be directly monitored by BATB human resources department.

At the inaugural programme, BATB Managing Director Shehzad Munim said, “BATB family is always active about giving highest facility to its employees.  We believe best environment is needed for flourishing talent of every human-being. The day care center will ensure to grow up the employees’ children properly and our employees will be able to pay attention to their work without any pressure.”

About purpose of launching Angels Nest, Head of HR of BATB Rumana Rahman said, “It is an initiative to make sure a secured working environment for BATB employees. Particularly those mothers who face lot of troubles while in the office because of caring their children will completely enjoy this facility. Now-a-days numbers of the family are in the rise where both father and mother are working. That is why not only female employees but also male employees will have the opportunity to keep their children here.”

At the inaugural programme, Executive Committee members of BATB, high officials, day care center beneficiary and their relatives were present, among others.
