Young Bangladeshi graphic artist Muktadirul Islam Jafir is one of ten top designers to win a prestigious award from the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The ICC has been rewarding players and officials for their performances in and off the field for years. This is first time in its history the august body has given recognition to cricket fans. Expulsion, trial of health sector criminals demanded

National Management Improvement Council (NMIC) held its first program with arranging a human-chain on Saturday at 11.00 am in front of the National Press Club in the capital .

NMIC in the program demanded expulsion and fair trial against the responsible for the failure of COVID-19 test and mismanagement of health service. The program was moderated by Dr. Tanvir Abir. Later from the program, the Joint-convener of NMIC, Dr. Md. Shamim Hayder Talukder declared the upcoming program. The human-chain was headed by Professor Dr. Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BNCCO, and Convener of NMIC.

Bangladeshi shopkeeper shot dead in Boston robbery

Boston Police have arrested the man who shot a Bangladeshi shopkeeper in the head during a robbery in the city's Roxbury (Massachusetts, USA) neighborhood last month. Boston police arrested Stephon Samuel, 25, on Friday, local time, three weeks after the ongoing movement of expatriate Bangladeshis in Boston. Arrested Stephon  was charged with armed robbery by means of a firearm, armed assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and armed career criminal level 1, according to Boston Police.
