Missing number climbs to 8 as trawler capsize in Meghna

Eight people have been missing since a fishing trawler capsized in the Meghna River in Char Fasson upazila of Bhola. Five fishermen were rescued alive in this connection. The incident took place in the Meghna river in Shibchar area of Dhalchar union in the upazila on Friday (August 2) night. Maruf Hossain Minar, senior fisheries officer of Char Fasson upazila, confirmed this information. He said that a week ago, 13 fishermen went for fishing amid inclement weather. Massive clashes in Khulna, policeman killed  

Massive clashes took place between quota protesters and policemen in Zero Point, Gallamari More and Khulna University areas.
