A 5 day international exhibition of branded clothing and fashion products begins today, 3rd June 2015 at Emmanuell’s Banquet Hall at Gulshan-1 in the city.
Over 45 companies from home and abroad are participating in this exhibition titled ‘Bangladesh Fashion Carnival- 2015’, 4th of its kind & will run till 7th June 2015.
Redcarpet365 Ltd, an event management firm, is organizing the event with the theme ‘Do Your Eid Shopping with Us.’
“Visitors already coming in the fashion carnival from morning,” Ahmed Imtiaz, CEO of the organizer, told the news agency today. Imtiaz said the exhibition was targeted to huge Eid-Ul-Fitr shopping. Referring to the salient features of the carnival, he said it is creating an opportunity for both local and foreign participants to display their latest development and quality of products before potential buyers, resulting in business transactions worth millions.
Ms Fatema , Director Marketing of RedCarpet365 Ltd said Designer Sarees, Branded Lawns, 3pcs & Salwar Suits have a great market in Bangladesh. Almost 25 participants from Abroad is participating in this Expo and day by day their number is increasing. She also added this exhibition also have encouraged local manufacturers and producers to export their goods in foreign markets, giving a big boost to the country’s export earnings.
Mr Maruf another director of organizer said, An array of quality products will be put on display in the fashion carnival. The products include clothing (women), fashion wear, Sarees, home textile, knitwear, Kurtas, Original Lawns, premium clothing, salwar-kameez, 3-pieces, shawals, sherwanis, beauty aids, beauty products and equipment, fashion house, gift and novelty items, leather and leather products and other services.

The exhibition will remain open for all from 10:00am to 9:30pm every day.
