The Annual Business Conference-2014 of Bank Asia was held on Saturday at a hotel in the capital. A Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman of the Bank, inaugurated the conference.
Vice Chairmen of the bank A.M. Nurul Islam and Mohammed Lakiotullah, Chairman of Board Audit Committee Rumee A Hossain, Directors M. Irfan Syed, Shah Md. Nurul Alam, Md. Mashiur Rahman, Farhana Haq Chowdhury, Sohana Rouf Chowdhury, Sabrina Chowdhury and President and Managing Director Md. Mehmood Husain, among others, were present.
With participation of the Heads of all the Branches, SME/Agri Branches, SME Service Centers, Departmental Heads of Corporate Office and Senior Executives, the conference was interactive and lively. A critical review of the activities of the Bank during the outgoing year was made in the conference. Taking previous year’s experience into consideration and analyzing the industry and economic outlook of the coming year strategies and action plan were drawn to face the economic challenges and achieve the objectives and goals set for 2014. In the backdrop of current economic scenario, prevailing market and industry situation, the annual business conference emphasized on development and motivation of human capital and doing business ethically to achieve a sustainable growth.
