Bangladesh Ambassador Golam Moshi called upon the expat students to be patriotic and loyal to the Kingdom by upholding its humanitarian and religious values.
He was speaking at the Annual Graduation Ceremony of the Bangladesh International School (BIS) in Riyadh on Friday.

A total of 43 students received the official Certificate of Higher Education. The envoy said the students who passed this first stage of study will now enter the second phase of their life, which will likely determine their future. “Therefore, this is an important time in your life; if you perform well in your higher studies, you will become useful citizens in our society,” Moshi asserted.
Moshi also announced that the Bangladesh government plans to set up seven state-of-the art schools throughout the Kingdom to cater to the needs of the Bangladeshi community.
He said the blueprint for the project is currently being crafted, and details are yet to be announced. There are currently some 1.3 million Bangladeshi workers deployed in the Kingdom.
The key note speaker of the event was Zayed Farid, curator of the King Salman Science Museum in Riyadh, while Mohammed Ayoob, head of the
chancellery of the Bangladesh Embassy, was a special guest at the occasion. School Principal Karim Reza sought the cooperation of parents in the running of the school, in order to overcome various challenges faced by the institution.
“There are some 1,400 students studying at the school,” the principal said, recalling that the students’ performance at the public examinations has remained excellent during recent years.
Some of the students who have graduated from the school have become professionals in their fields of study following their education at prestigious universities in various parts of the world.
