BMBA holds AGM

The 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association (BMBA) was successfully held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in a hotel in the capital. BMBA is committed to working closely with all stakeholders to protect and develop the interests of the capital market.

BMBA President Majeda Khatun presided over the meeting. Also present were First Vice President Md. Riad Matin, Second Vice President Mohammad Obaidur Rahman FCS, Secretary General Muhammad Nazrul Islam FCMA, Treasurer Iftikhar Alam, along with members of the Executive Committee and general members.
An open discussion was held on the current state of the capital market, where members shared their insights. The discussion also included BMBA’s future plans and strategies for market development. President Majeda Khatun stated, “BMBA is committed to working closely with all stakeholders to protect and develop the interests of the capital market.”
At the conclusion of the meeting, BMBA leaders called upon all members and stakeholders to cooperate in establishing a dynamic, well-structured, and progressive capital market.
