BMCCI urges Malaysia to reduce trade gap

Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BMCCI) has urged the Malaysian government to reduce trade gap through increase import from Bangladesh.  BMCCI President Nasir A Choudhury made the appeal while members of the Board of Directors of BMCCI led by him called on High Commissioner of Malaysia Norlin Binti Othman in the city on Thursday.

The BMCCI President also told the envoy about the activity plan of BMCCI for the year 2014 and sought support and cooperation from High Commission of Malaysia in Dhaka.

Norlin Binti Othman assured her all out support to the BMCCI activities to uphold further development of relation between the two countries.

Among others, Vice Presidents A.S.M. Mainuddin Monem and Supun Weerasinghe, Hony. Secretary General Raquib Mohammad Fakhrul (Rocky), Hony. Treasurer Syed Almas Kabir, Directors Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Mohammed Lakiotullah, Alhaj Md. Nurun Newaz, Engr. Mohammad Badrul Hassan and Yesmin Ipphat, former President Syed Moazzam Hossain, Immediate Past Hony. Secretary General Ar. Md. Alamgir Jalil were present in the meeting.
