A day long trade fair to mark the Bangla New Year was organised for the women entrepreneurs namely ‘Boishakhi Trade Fair’ by Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) in cooperation with the Asia Foundation on 11th April 2015 at the NITOL Center, Mohakhali, Dhaka.
Ms. Selima Ahmad, President of BWCCI inaugurated the fair. Ms. Ahmad said that along with the government of Bangladesh all should come forward to promote women entrepreneurship as well as women entrepreneurs’ products. She also inspired the women entrepreneurs to contribute more in the country economy through making of their creative and innovative products.
Board members of BWCCI and the high officials of NITOL-NILOY Group were present at the inaugural ceremony. Women entrepreneurs from different districts participated with their own products. There was huge crowd of customers in the fair to buy the attractive and traditional products of women entrepreneurs.
