On October 15, 2014, Dettol Bangladesh participated in the global Handwashing Day by going to schools and educating children on the importance of washing hands. Children took part in a Global Relay, where the handwashing habit was passed on from a school in Bangladesh to a school in UAE through virtually connected Dettol Basin.
