Huawei has joined the ranks of the most revered brands in the world. Interbrand’s Best Global Brands Report places Huawei 94th in its top 100 ranking. It’s the first time Huawei joins strong brands such as Apple, Google and Coca-Cola on the list. Huawei is also the first Chinese company to be named a top 100 brand. Interbrand noted Huawei’s leadership among telecom equipment makers, but also highlighted their pivot to provide solutions to enterprises and consumers. “Huawei is poised to dominate key areas of the IT market—from mobile phones to carrier-grade networks,” the consultancy said in a statement.
