DHL signs agreement with Farmers Bank
DHL Express, the world’s leading express company, has recently signed an agreement with The Farmers Bank Limited (FIBL), to provide international express delivery to the bank and its customers.
An official corporate signing ceremony took place between DHL Express Bangladesh and The Farmers Bank Limited on May 28, 2014 at the head office of FIBL. The agreement was signed by Desmond Quiah, Country Manager, DHL Express Bangladesh and Choudhury Moshtaq Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO, FIBL on behalf of their respective organizations.

Biman to get 4 Boeing aircraft by 2019
The government will add four Boeing 787-800 aircraft to the fleet of Biman Bangladesh Airlines by 2019, aiming to improve its passenger service, Finance Minister AMA Muhith said on Thursday.
“Two Boeing 777-300 aircraft have been procured. Procurement of two Boeing 737-800 aircraft is underway. Hopefully, another four Boeing 787-800 aircraft will be added to the Biman fleet by 2019,” he said while delivering his budget speech in Parliament.

Prime Bank Limited and JCB International (JCBI), the international operations subsidiary of JCB Co., Ltd., on Wednesday announced that Prime Bank has launched the first JCB card in Bangladesh.
