Indian engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Wednesday said it has bagged a Rs 1,700 crore order from Japan’s Marubeni Corporation to set up a 400-MW gas-based power plant in Bangladesh. Govt plans coal-fired power plants near Cox’s Bazar

Coal Power Generation Company Bangladesh (CPGCBL) is reportedly planning to develop two coal-fired power plants, each with a power generation capacity of 600MW with potential investment of around $4.6bn.
