The fourth edition of Bangladesh International Tourism Fair 2014 is set to be held from June 19 to 21, at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka.
The event is organised by Bangladesh Foundation for Tourism Development (BFTD) in collaboration with the Bangladesh Tourism Board. The Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh is the co-organiser of the Fair. More than 12 countries and 51 international buyers have confirmed their participation at the event, stated a release.

A NEW empowerment fund to be launched in May will allow large companies in the tourism sector to boost their empowerment scores by investing in small businesses.
The fund is to be unveiled by the Tourism Enterprise Partnership (TEP), a public-private partnership and nongovernmental organisation focused on enterprise development in the tourism sector. TEP is looking to raise an average of R10m to R30m a year through the new funding tool.
