Three kingpins of an international human trafficking syndicate involved in smuggling Rohingya and Bangladeshi illegals are leading Malaysian businessmen, local media reports said today

A special police team is on their trail, The Star un Malaysia reported.
More than 70 suspected working for the syndicate has been arrested over the past month in a special operation, it said in an exclusive report. The suspects comprised Malaysians, Bangladeshis and also Rohingyas holding UNHCR refugee cards, who were found to be “trusted lieutenants” of the kingpins.
Police personnel have also been held for involvement in human trafficking.
