CPD to host trade dialogue on sidelines of Bali confce

Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a civil society think tank of Bangladesh, will organise a dialogue on ‘Integrating Trade Issues in Post-2015 International Development Framework: Ongoing Debates and Potential Opportunities’ on Thursday (Dec 5) in Bali, Indonesia.

The CPD, as part of the Bali Trade and Development Symposium (TDS), will host the event on the sidelines of the ninth WTO Ministerial Conference to be held on December 3-6.

The theme of the event is ‘International Trade Governance and Sustainable Development’.

9th WTO OMCA team of CPD senior researchers already left for Bali, Indonesia to participate in various side events during the Ninth WTO Ministerial Conference (MC9), said a media release on Monday.

International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), The Commonwealth, South Asia Watch on Trade, Economics and Environment (SAWTEE), Southern Voice on Post-MDG International Development Goals and LDC IV Monitor are the co-organisers of the event to be chaired by Dr Debapriya Bhattacharya, Distinguished Fellow, CPD.

Apart from organising the dialogue, the CPD team members will also participate in other events on various capacities.
