Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC (CSE) successfully held its 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the Conference Hall of the CSE Building, 1080 Sk. Mujib Road, Agrabad Commercial Area, Chattogram.
The meeting was chaired by Mr AKM Habibur Rahman, Chairman of CSE.
The AGM was attended by the members of the Board of Directors, namely Professor Dr Mahmud Hassan, Ms Naznin Sultana, FCA, Major (Retd.) Emdadul Islam, Mr Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury and Mr Shahjada Mahmud Chowdhury. Also present were Mr M. Shaifur Rahman Mazumdar, FCA, FCMA, Managing Director and Mr Rajib Saha, FCS, Company Secretary.
Shareholders unanimously approved a cash dividend of 3.5% for the financial year 2024–2025.
As no additional nominations were received by the closing date for submission of nomination papers, the Election Committee of CSE declared Mr Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Managing Director of Lankabangla Securities Limited, elected uncontested as Shareholder Director with effect from November 27, 2025.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the Managing Director.
