Holy Shab-e-Barat tonight

The Muslim community is going to observe the holy Shab-e-Barat tonight throughout the country with due religious fervent and devotion, seeking the blessings of Allah Almighty.

On the occasion of the holy night of Shab-e-Barat, Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus has called upon everyone to dedicate themselves to the welfare of humanity and nation-building.

In a message on Thursday, he extended his heartfelt greetings to Muslims in Bangladesh and around the world, emphasising the significance of this sacred night.

The Chief Adviser said, “Let us abandon all forms of injustice, immorality, violence, and superstitions, and establish the spirit of Islam, the religion of peace, in every aspect of our personal, social, and national lives.”

Extending his sincere greetings to the Muslim community, he stated that this blessed night brings boundless mercy and blessings from Almighty Allah. On this night, Allah bestows forgiveness and answers the prayers of His believers.

Prof. Yunus highlighted that on this sacred night, the infinite mercy and blessings of Allah are showered upon humanity.

Through worship and devotion on this glorious night, we can attain Allah’s closeness and receive His boundless mercy, blessings, and salvation, he said.

He concluded by praying, “May Almighty Allah forgive and protect us all. Ameen.”

On this occasion, Islamic Foundation has chalked out programmes at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque here, a press release said.

The Foundation will hold waz (religious sermons), doa-mahfils, special prayers, recitation from the Holy Quran and Hamd-Naat at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Friday evening.

Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain will deliver an Islamic sermon at the Baitul Mukarram Mosque here highlighting the significance of Shab-e-Barat around 6.35 pm on Friday.
