Bank Asia has contributed Tk 2 crore for successful organization of ICC T-20 World Cup 2014 and Lakho Kanthe Sonar Bangla Tahobil. A Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman of the Bank handed over cheques of the contribution to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a function held at Gonobhaban on Friday.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith and State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, among others, were present.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also received a cheque of Tk. 3 crore from Engr Mustafa Anwar, Vice Chairman, Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited on Friday as donation for organizing Sonar Bangla in Million Voices.
