A meeting of the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited was held on Thursday (July 17, 2014) at the Board Room of Islami Bank Tower in the city.
The meeting was presided over by Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman of the Bank. Engr. Mustafa Anwar, Vice Chairman, Engr. Md. Eskander Ali Khan, Chairman, Executive Committee, Professor N R M Borhan Uddin, PhD, Chairman, Audit Committee, Dr. Abdul Hameed Fouad Al-Khateeb, Rep. of Arabsas Travel & Tourist Agency, KSA, Mohammed Abdullah Al Jalahma, Repr. of Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation, Dr. Areef Suleman, Repr. of Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, KSA, Salahuddin Ahmed, Rep. of Kuwait Finance House, Kuwait, Md. Abul Hossain, Repr. of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB), Humayun Bokhteyar, ACPA, FCA, and Barrister Mohammed Belayet Hossain, Directors and Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank were present in the meeting.
The meeting expressed its satisfaction while evaluating the performance of the Bank over the success & progress achieved so far and took some important business decisions. Beside these, the management was advised to play pioneer role in industry and agriculture sector by enhancing trade & commerce for the growth of the country.
