IBBL distributes relief among flood victims

Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has taken initiative to distribute relief worth Tk. 30 million this year among the flood affected people across the country. Relief materials and cash are being distributed in the flood affected areas in Rangpur and Chittagong division through its local branches. Every year the Bank distributes relief among the flood hit people under its CSR activities.

Mohammed Amirul Islam, Executive Vice President and head of Chittagong South Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited recently distributed relief among the flood hit people of Lohagara area in Chittagong organized by its Lohagara branch. The Bank is distributing relief worth Tk. 30 million among the flood victims across the country this year.

As part of the program, the Bank’s Lohagara Branch in Chittagong arranged relief distribution on July 7, 2015 at Amirabad Union Porisad Auditorium. Mohammed Amirul Islam, Executive Vice President and head of Chittagong South Zone of the Bank distributed relief materials among the flood affected people of the area. Branch Incumbent Mohammad Isa was present in the function.

Keranihat Branch of the Bank distributed relief among 354 flood affected families of Amilaish Union on July 7. Satkania Upozilla Nirbahi Officer Muhammad Ullah distributed the relief materials while Branch Incumbent M Rezaul Haque was present in the function.

Bandarban Branch distributed relief among 230 flood victims from Sualok and adjacent area of Sadar upozilla on July 12. Bandarban Upozilla Chairman Abdul Kuddus, Sualong Mouza headman Maung Thwai Ching and Branch Incumbent Mohammad Sanaullah were present in the program.

The Bank’s Pekua Branch in Cox’sbazar distributed relief among flood affected people of the locality recently. Branch Incumbent Md. Abu Zafar distributed the relief materials while Shafayet Aziz, Upozilla Chairman of Pekua was present.

Ramu Branch distributed relief among flood affected people of the area on July 9. Upozilla Chairman Riyazul Islam distributed the relief materials while Branch Incumbent Md. Abdul Azim was present in the function.
