Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has undertaken initiatives to expand its CSR activities and banking services at the recently defunct enclaves in order to upgrading the living standard of their people and to include them with the mainstream economy of the country.
As a part of these initiatives, Dr. Atiur Rahaman, Governor, Bangladesh Bank handed over a
computer to Dahla Khagrabari Hazi Lutfor Rahman School and cheques to two investment clients on behalf of Islami Bank at a function at recently defunct Dahla Khagrabari enclave under Debiganj upazila in Panchagar on October 25, 2015.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director, Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Executive Vice President & Head of Development Wing, Md. Shahidullah, Executive Vice President & Head of Rangpur Zone were present at that time.
As part of CSR activities, the bank will initially distribute 5 computer, 10 Rickshaw-Van, 10 cattle, 20 sewing machines, 50 tube wells, 3 hundred school bag, 5 hundred T-shirts, 1 thousand pieces blanket and run 4 free medical camps.
