IBBL official died in road accident

Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Senior Principal Officer and Investment In-charge of Narayanganj Branch of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited died in a tragic road accident at Kawrakandi of Madaripur on 6 August 2014. (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihe Raziun). He was going to Bagerhat from Narayanganj for official purpose. During demise he was 53. He left behind wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.

Abul Kalam AzadHe joined Islami Bank in 1985. He was born in 1961 at Kalinagar village under Singra Thana of Natore District.

Prof. Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher, Chairman and Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank expressed deep sorrow at his demise and condoled the bereaved family members. Doa and munajat was offered at all branches and head office and of the Bank seeking salvation for his departed soul.

Md. Abul Kalam Azad joined IBBL during its initial stage and contributed a lot in publicity and expansion of the Bank. His dedication and accountability toward Islamic Banking encouraged him to work with this institution. Islami Bank family is bereaved by losing an expert and experienced fellow banker like him.
