Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd (IBBL) has provided nine thousand pieces of blankets to Bangladesh Bank for distributing among the cold affected people across the country. AFM Asaduzzaman, General Manager of Governor’s secretariat received the blankets on behalf of the Governor on Saturday from AKM Abdul Malek Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of the bank.
AHM Latif Uddin Chowdhury, Senior Vice President of the bank was present on the occasion.
Mentionable that Islami Bank Bangladesh took initiative to distribute 2 lac 10 thousand pieces of winter clothes among the cold hit people of the country this year. Branches of the bank have been distributing warm clothes throughout the country at their respective areas.
