Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) Bogra Zone has organised a daylong workshop on Women Entrepreneurship Development in Bogra recently.
Mizanur Rahman Jodder, General Manager, Bangladesh Bank inaugurated workshop as chief guest.
Presided over by Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Executive Vice President and Head of Islami Bank Bogra Zone, Dr. Hosne Ara Begum, noted social worker and executive director, TMSS Bogra discussed on strategies for being a successful woman entrepreneur. Justice Ms. Mominun Nesa of Artharin Adalat Bogra spoke on basic laws and regulations of Artarin Adalat.
Noted political scientist Prof. Dr. Dilara Chowdhury, woman entrepreneur and director of Sukonna Bogra Israt Jahan Mitu addressed the workshop. Senior Vice President and Head of Islami Bank Bogra Branch Md. Kaiser Ali and Vice President of the Bank Md. Shahzahan Ali were present in the function.
More than fifty women entrepreneurs from different branches under IBBL Bogra Zone participated in the workshop.
Miznur Rahman Jodder discussed on importance of women entrepreneurs and role of Bangladesh Bank in boosting the women entrepreneurship investment. He called upon the women entrepreneurs to come forward for socio-economic development of the country by investing in prospective sectors and increasing the productivity of industries. He praises the role of Islami Bank for keeping continuous investment in women entrepreneurship development. He urged all banks and financial institutions to come forward for development of this vibrant sector.
