Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF) organised a seminar on “Duties of Islamic Banks in the light of Objectives of Shariah” at a local hotel on July 4, 2015 Saturday.
Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, MP was present in the program as the chief guest, Presided over by IBCF Acting Chairman Engr. Mustafa Anwar, the key-note paper was presented by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director & CEO of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited.
Moderated by AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul, Convener, Seminar Preparatory Committee, IBCF, the seminar was addressed by Ambassador Mohammed Mohsin, Former Assistant Secretary General, OIC, Abul Hasan Chowdhury, Former Sate Minister for Foreign Affairs, Salahuddin Kasem Khan, Member, WIFE, Shah Abdul Hannan, Former Secretary of Govt., M Azizul Haque, Islamic Banking Consultant, Md. Habibur Rahman, Managing Director, Al-Arafah Islami Bank and Mohammed Haider Ali Miah, Managing Director, EXIM Bank. Major (Retd) Dr. Md. Rezaul Haque voted thanks to the participants in the seminar, Economists, educationists, diplomats, high officials, director and CEOs of different banks, islamic scholars, business leaders and local elites were present in the program.
