Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser on Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, visited Banglalink Headquarters and its state-of-the-art Network Management Center on Sunday.
During the visit, Taiyeb emphasised that optimal allocation and parity in sub-1 GHz low-band spectrum will be essential to achieving Bangladesh’s vision of a truly connected and inclusive digital society, where every citizen benefits from reliable and meaningful usage of affordable connectivity.
He highlighted the strategic importance of the 700 MHz band in expanding rural coverage, reducing network congestion, and ensuring equal opportunities for all operators to deliver high-quality digital connectivity nationwide.
The visit featured an engaging and forward-looking discussion on how Banglalink is accelerating inclusive digital progress across Bangladesh by enhancing connectivity, modernising its network with AI-driven innovation, and supporting digital and financial inclusion through a strong customer-first approach.
